behind the scenes

DAY 70 –

Photo taken more than a week ago:

Biltz Shoot: Behind the Scenes

My newlywed cousin was in Manila for two and a half weeks, alongside her “awesomeness” of a husband. It has roughly been 11 years since we last saw each other, which is why the reunion is nothing short of fabulous! The added bonus for this cute and cool couple was the fact that they are up for ANYTHING — taking public transportation such as “king of the road” jeepneys & tricycles, eating streetfood and the most ‘dreaded’ of all?

PHOTOSHOOT!

That being said, the photographer (a childhood friend of ours) and I sorta’ teamed up to make the shoot happen. I wasn’t the main photographer; and while I mostly assisted with “pose” directing, at the very least, I’m glad to do the behind-the-scenes shoot. Thanks to the chemistry between the photographer and the couple, the 3-hour session has produced so many great shots. We checked the raw images while waiting for dinner to arrive (thin crust pizza FTW!), and shortly after, the couple trimmed down the images for post-production.

Like my cousins, I look forward to see the final output, too! Though they left Manila for more than a week now, I’m glad we were able to (FINALLY!) spend time together, catch up and create their unofficial post-nuptial photos.

My message for them? Nothing but the BEST of happiness for the rest of their married life.
