metal petals

Early afternoon, my colleagues and I went over to Buddy’s for a scrumptious lunch treat. It wasn’t the first time we’ve been to this Filipino-haven restaurant. Aside from their specialty food, the native interior was such a feast for the eyes— intricate wooden carvings greet you as soon as you enter the place. From the ceilings to the walls, oh yes, it (carvings) dominates.

This time though, I was fixated on this:

The only place where THIS type of flower grows.

Armed with Alvin’s baby gadget, I took a minute or two to snap some photos. The symmetry & combination of the geometric figures of this sunflower design was visually appealing. It was so ingenious, that placing them beneath the store counter was a brilliant idea for a conversation piece.

So…you like flowers?

It always is nice to dine in a place with interesting interiors, don’t you think?

  1. Ambiance is so important. The way a place is done completely makes or breaks your experience. These looks gorgeous! When you have the time, do drop by my space. I just made some bread pudding and would love to heat what you think 🙂

yes, i definitely agree! 🙂 ambiance plays a big part in attracting customers. it may not exactly be luxurious, but at the very least, should be presentable.
