comrades, cars and coffee

Alvin and I decided to meet colleagues down south for catch-up conversations during our Christmas break. After lunch with his family, we went ahead and ventured to a cafe like no other!

Pitstop Coffee Shop

Pitstop Coffee Shop is located in San Pedro, Laguna. The concept is quite unique compared to several coffee shops here in Manila.

For starters, the owner/s decided to integrate another one of his passions — collecting model cars— to serve as a delightful cafe interior. Literally, there are model cars in EVERY CORNER of the cafe! How amazing is that?!

I can only imagine other car enthusiasts enjoying their stay in the coffee shop to hang out and marvel on every kind of miniature cars —- down from vintage collection of beautifully furnished wood & metal cars (sorry, didn’t take the photos) to the up-to-date modern ones.

This greets you once you order.

There are still loads of things to see (and food to eat!) at Pitstop’s. Not to mention, the coffee certainly didn’t disappoint, plus the food is worth every peso. It is a hangout I wouldn’t mind going back to again, just because it isn’t too commercial for my taste! Plus, I get to hang out with travel companions who also has quite an adventurous spirit when it comes to food (including coffee!) that is remarkably promising!

I hope Pitstop would decide to venture in the metropolis. I’m glad they were able to meet more than just our taste buds, but our passion for unique cafe concepts like this one.

just peachy

Introducing the latest addition to my set of lipsticks:

Snoe Rouge Deluxe in Just Peachy

Snoe’s Rouge Deluxe is an oil-infused rich and creamy lip color in the season’s hottest hues. It will hydrate, nourish and revitalize lips. While delivering long-lasting color, this product works to smoothen and soften the lips, making your pout extra kissable. Edited only to the most fashionable shades, it’s impossible to pick just one.

(As per box description)

I tried their sample and I immediately noticed how the product smoothly glides on the lips. Plus, it compliments my skin tone. Of what shade, you ask?

Just Peachy, a tangerine coral lipstick. I’m glad that it exactly produced the coral shade of lips that has been on my Beauty Bucket List (if there’s such!) for quite a while.

As this lipstick stands by its word of without paraben and sulfates, that alone is one strong winning factor. I’m not an all-organic kind of gal, but in a way, I’d like to infuse some products that are with less harmful chemicals and pro-environment. (That serves for another beauty entry!). Speaking of which, this contains moisturizing oils such as argan and jojoba.

The lipstick is easy to apply (I couldn’t stress that enough), pigmented and has an awesome staying power!

The best part of it all? It’s only Php 399 (USD 10)

And that, my friends, is how this lipstick got me sold.

In Buttery Creme Finish, this Lip Care is Proudly Philippine-Made

Oh…Did I mention about the packaging?!

The Box alone is Lovely

I really hope that Snoe would expand their cosmetics and skin care line. For  a locally produced product, Snoe is a brand that I really hope would go global.

visions of a sunset

I haven’t seem to get enough of this.

One of the Awesome-est Cloud Formation

There I was, attuned with finishing off a project due today, when all of a sudden, I noticed a pattern in the sky. It was altocumulus (thanks Google!) — streamlining to one direction, like a path directing towards sunset.

The thing about technology, something I’m thankful for, is how easy it is to just grab a gadget such as a camera to capture a beauty like this (and in my head, I speak it Steve Irwin style.) I decided to take a 5-minute break, and went inside the training room.

Obviously, I have opted for a wider view:

REALLY stunning.

Definitely a good way to start the weekend, ‘no?!

what’s up with January?

Time flies so fast, I’m challenged to catch up. I have loads of pictures to post, right now I can’t seem to muster enough strength to even open my computer. Why so? Work at the office is incessantly flowing, the last thing I (seem to) need is to flip the laptop, AT HOME, to work on my photos. Hah. Thus, using my mobile to update my blog, at the very least, to remind myself there’s LIFE after work.

Glad we’re only a day short before the weekend. Time to a get my groove on, photo-wise. 🙂
