J’ai deux amours

Mon pays et Paris.

I won’t deny it: I have been hooked over Carpe Diem’s playlist of 8tracks.com. I have been incessantly playing the list both at home and at the office. The playlist mostly contains french music, with this jazzy tune as one of my favorites (a rendition by Madeleine Peyroux).

Listening to the playlist, in particular to this song, has a sentimental reason connected to it. To me, the song has a therapeutic way of facing life’s music (no pun intended!)… To welcome change and hope for the better.

I always have Paris on my bucket list. Maybe someday, God-willing, I will chance upon Paris on a whole new level: not as a tourist, but as a traveler meeting old friends and gaining new ones.

Mon pays et Paris, mon ami… Mon pays et Paris. Les rêves deviennent réalité.
