logo2I was probably in my own little world back in 2013 when the organizers took the initiative to bring altogether ART GALLERIES in one event. Finally, I got out (of my cave) and found out about this.

Must relay to hubby. At last. An artist’s haven!

my piece of peace

12 midnight today, he went out to bought me flowers. I woke up early morning with these beauties beside the bed. I planted a kiss on his left cheek, thanking him for the romantic gesture he did for my birthday.

Afternoon, we had our own personal meeting of our plans and goals for the year as a couple. I decided to “unplug” myself and focus on the things that have more weight in my life, as it should always be. I spent the day with him and thank God for another year that has passed and hopefully, another year to add in my life. We don’t know what’s ahead of us, nor the challenges that may come. But I’m glad, at this point in time, I have my best friend around to keep me grounded.

Come dinner, he took me out to Guevarra’s, a restaurant tucked in a residential place at San Juan. I liked how the place was secluded from the noise of Manila, alongside the historic feel that somehow makes one nostalgic and calm.

Our dining experience was memorable, everything was perfect. We came in for early dinner, which was a good idea so that we can both get rested and ready for work week. And the food? It was great, we literally had stomach ache. No kidding, we did, that we took Moroccan Mint tea to ease the pain off the time we got home. 🙂

Best birthday ever, especially when you spend it with someone you’ve always prayed to God for. Here’s to hoping and praying for more of the best birthdays to come.

(Thank you God! 🙂

ecuadorian roses

Fun fact: I’m a big fan of RED roses.

Thus, imagine my excitement when I saw flower shops in my neighborhood start to bring in Ecuadorian Roses. They’re these massively HUGE red flowers, they’ll blow your mind with their beauty. Every time I go home, I always make a mental note to check out these flowers.

Since then, it literally played at the back of my head that if I ever get hitched, I’ll make sure to order a bouquet for my wedding.

Come 2014, I finally did.

wow. 2015.

My life in 2014 went so fast, I didn’t even know where’d it go exactly.

Okay, so maybe I do.

And a grain of truth dawned upon me: the more you get blessed, the more you get busy. So BUSY I WENT. It was full of ups and downs, challenges and MORE challenges, victories and failures. I can never quite say I’m there yet, there being where I want to be. But the journey has been spontaneous, continuous and frankly, quite “interesting”.

Thus, I look forward to a better 2015. This, by far, may be the BEST year ever. Or worst.

But that’s LIFE. You take it as it is and get gutsy enough to face it.

CHEERS!

PS. My resolution? Probably be a better blogger of life this time. I haven’t been for more than six months now.
